GPASC is a BBSE provider (PCE 52E). This course meets the qualification for 7 hours of continuing education credits for MFT's and LCSW's, as required by the California Board of Behavioral sciences. GPASC is a CPA provider (GRO004-12). This course has been approved for 7 MCEP units for Psychologists ADVERTS: Two professionals who are renowned in the field of group psychotherapy, Gerald Corey, Ed. D. and Marianne Schneider Corey, M.A. will be our honored guest speakers for the day. They are the authors of several books on the subject of group counseling, including Group Techniques, I Never Knew I Had a Choice and Becoming A Helper. The content of these books, plus Theory and Practice of Group Counseling by Gerald Corey, are the basis for the content of this Group Counseling Workshop. The Coreys have conducted workshops in the United States, Mexico and Europe, with a special focus on training in group counseling. These internationally known professionals, using their creative approach through demonstrations and videotape examples, will present a day that should prove to be exciting, insightful and applicable for all levels of professionals.

Expressive Arts Therapy: A Journey Into New Territory is an introductory course to take you dancing, singing, painting, poem making, acting, drumming, and discovering a vital realm of your existence - your creative self. Individual art modalities will be highlighted, aesthetic response investigated, and intermodal theory will be viewed from the inside out. A prerequisite for all students wishing to enter the ISIS Southwest Expressive Arts Training Institute, www.expressivearts.org  (next class begins January 2000). Learn, create, and discover the creative potential in you!!
