Rick Ritter LCSW, CT has been a trauma therapist for 20 years in Ft. Wayne and the surrounding areas of Northeast Indiana and Northwest Ohio. He initially worked as a trauma therapist with Viet Nam veterans and their vast array of issues as well as the families of veterans. Simultaneously he became a co-founder of the Center For Nonviolence (batterers program) and helped the collective run the program and has been a co-facilitator there up until a few years ago when he went into private practice in order to focus more on a wider range of traumatized persons. About 80% of his client load is trauma-related cases. He has been a debriefer in emergency services, disasters, and commercial settings for the last 10 years. He is today the only Certified Traumatologist in the northern half of the state and the only provider of EFT, TIR, and the Rewind Technique in the state. He has also created a new approach to reintegration with DID persons (this is in the publication stage currently). He also is working currently to publish a guided loss journal for physical loss. Most recently he co-presented a day-long symposium at the University of Michigan on EFT and TIR at an introductory level. He is in practice with his partner/wife - a counseling psychologist - in order to provide a comprehensive set of options for their clients. |
