As a feminist, family therapist and sexuality therapist,
I take a comprehensive approach to the problems of today.
I help individuals and couples work on relationship and
sexuality issues in a supportive, counseling environment
that is confidential, affordable and not time-limited.
Using a multi-systems approach, my therapeutic style incorporates
cognitive, behavioral and affective techniques. General practice
issues include: relationship adjustments; communication difficulties
among partners and family members; complications of living in a
blended family; body image issues and consultations for couples before
they enter a committed relationship. Topics
dealing specifically with sexuality include: sexual identity issues;
sexuality and older adults; sexual functioning concerns as they relate
to chronic illness such as diabetes, heart disease, arthritis and
mental health issues; sexual dysfunctions in men and women; fertility
problems and HIV/AIDS counseling.
Insurance payments are not accepted to assure confidentiality and to
provide unlimited sessions.
Payment is based on a sliding scale.
